It is rare to find one solitary Aspen tree.  Instead, Aspen trees grow in groves – as a community; interconnected at the root to support and nourish one another.  A grove of Aspen trees symbolizes strength, support, and stability.  New trees will spring to life when the grove is suffering, and they depend on one another for sustenance and survival.  An Aspen Grove perfectly demonstrates what our community so desperately needs.

For too long, our neighbors, friends, and family have lived as separate individuals or in a self-contained family.  Solitary.  Isolated.  Unsupported.  We don’t know our neighbors.  We spend more time on social media rather than cultivating face-to-face relationships.   And self-care is put on the back burner.  We feel exhausted, lonely, and even depressed. All that is about to change.

The Aspen Center provides the deep-rooted, interconnected, healing environment our community needs to rejuvenate, grow, and thrive.  We have the nutrients and resources to support the grove and not only spring it back to life, but also make it stronger and healthier than ever before.  For the first time, there will be an all-encompassing community center focused on physical, social, emotional, and professional growth. Working mothers and their families will no longer have to choose between taking care of their own needs and the needs of their family.  Mothers will have the balance they crave.  Children will have the love and support they deserve.  And our community will thrive.
